United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has kicked off its 76th session in New York.
World leaders and diplomats are gathering to address global challenges such as climate change, Covid-19, human rights, and security.
Among the speakers on Tuesday were President Biden, who made his debut at the UNGA as president; Chinese President Xi Jinping, who delivered a pre-recorded video message; and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who accused the U.S. of violating the 2015 nuclear deal.
The UNGA will also feature several high-level meetings and events on topics such as food systems, energy, gender equality, and Afghanistan.
