Trump to skip second debate for primetime speech

Former President Donald Trump announced that he will not participate in the second Republican presidential debate scheduled for October 3 in Detroit, Michigan.

Instead, he will hold a prime-time speech at the same time, where he is expected to criticize the Biden administration and tout his own achievements.

Trump said he made this decision because he believes the debates are “rigged” and “biased” against him.
